Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-14 · applies to the iOS, macOS, and Android apps
MeowPass is built to collect nothing. 🐾
What we collect
Nothing. MeowPass has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no crash reporting. The Android app declares no INTERNET permission and the Apple apps make no network calls, so the app cannot send any data off your device.
What stays on your device
- Passwords you generate or analyze are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted anywhere.
- MeowGram images and the messages you hide in or read from them are processed entirely on your device.
- If you choose to share a MeowGram, it is handed to the app you pick (e.g. a messaging app) through the system share sheet. What that app does with it is governed by that app's own privacy policy.
Permissions
- No network access. The app cannot reach the internet.
- Reading an image to decode is done through the system photo/file picker or share sheet; the app only receives the single image you choose.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here.
